BEHAVIOUR and SCHOOL DISCIPLINE

We believe that every child has the right to learn and every teacher has the right to teach. Our home school agreement explains the aims and values of Berry Hill Primary School and is given to parents when their child starts school.
Relationships between staff and children are positive. Adults are positive role models and aim to apply our code of behaviour in a consistent manner.
Our school rules are there to keep everyone safe and happy. They were drawn up by staff and children and parents and are displayed throughout school.
We aim to encourage children to be responsible, to make good choices and treat others as they would like to be treated.
We want to take a positive approach and apply rewards for good behaviour. We also have agreed sanctions which follow unacceptable behaviour.
