Choir have been busy practising for the 'Cool Choirs' event which takes place at Mansfield Museum every year. The event runs over a week and allows children from different schools to perform to each other in a non-competitive concert. Each school chooses a decade and performs a few songs to the other schools. This year Berry Hill choir have chosen to perform songs from the current decade including; Roar (Katy Perry), Hold My Hand (Jess Glinn) and Count On Me (Bruno Mars). Choir is currently open to any Key Stage 2 children who want to take part and is supported by Mrs Swain, Mrs Smith and Mrs Quant-Epps. We practise on Fridays after school until 4pm and it is a brilliant way to let off some steam at the end of the week.
Coming up we have carol singing at St. Peters' and bringing some festive cheer to the PTFA Christmas Fayre.
There will be no choir on Friday 27th November as two of the adult supporters will be on the Year 6 residential.
