Year 3

Some selected yr3 children worked with Mrs B to clear an area of our playground so that we can use it to play.
The children worked hard and were great team players, learning Forest School tool use principles as well as all about the wildlife. We carefully moved any insects we found and discovered a type of fungi called Jelly Ear, growing on one of the bushes. It looked just like a human ear!
The children cut down lots of bushes using tools and resources which school purchased from a Miner to Major community grant.
