World Toilet Day
Did you know that Monday 19th November is World Toilet Day? This year, with your support, we are aiming to make a difference to poor communities across the world by ‘twinning our toilets’. 2.3 billion people currently don’t have somewhere safe to go to the toilet! On World Toilet Day we are holding a ‘Go Blue for the Loo Day’ and giving our children the option of wearing blue clothes to school in exchange for a small voluntary donation (suggested donation of £1 per child). If as a school we can raise £240 we can twin one of our toilet blocks to help children in desperate poverty to have access to a proper latrine, clean water and the information they need to be healthy. The more money we raise the more toilets we can twin and the more people we can help. This initiative will also support our children with their understanding of the world, human and physical geographical features, as well as contributing towards our eco efforts to obtain the prestigious Green Flag award. We thank you in advance for your continued support.
