Living Things and Their Habitats
Animal Habitats Around The World
WEEK 8 15.06.20
This weeks science task:
Go on your very own minibeast hunt and identify the different habitats they live in.
You can use these to help you or create your own way to record.
What does this mean?
Find out using these links.
Can you go on a hunt and find things that are alive, dead and never been alive?
You can hunt at home.
You can hunt in the garden.
You can hunt on a walk.
Lots of information and a materials quiz. Can you use the words on the properties of materials posters to describe the different materials you find on your hunt?
Now use the labels to do your very own materials hunt at home. Happy Hunting! Don't forget to send us a photo of your hunt to firstname.lastname@example.org
Now here is the fun part!
We can't wait to see what you create.
Make your own scrap forest by changing the materials you build with in different ways.
Here are some pictures to give you a few ideas. We hope to create our own too so keep an eye on twitter!
You could make some animals for your scrap forest using play dough or salt dough too.
We can't wait to see what you discover in your investigations.
